Health and Safety Awards
Health and Safety Achievement Awards are presented to forestry firms that made significant strides in health and safety program development and implementation. Continuous Improvement Awards will be given to two firms for significantly improving their total injury frequency and severity rates on a consistent basis over a five-year period.
Because of the relatively small number of forestry firms that applied for the 2008 awards during the continuing economic crisis, some of the winners were grouped into regional awards. All award-winning firms receive a 3-foot by 8-foot durable vinyl award banner suitable for outdoor display.
